We are currently seeking a talented Junior QA/Testing Engineer to work for Resonate, to join our Development team and be part of a greater team that will deliver product enhancements and new products, whilst working within an agile development environment.
Resonate have established a development practice for creating specialist tools for the Unified Communications space; these are based on the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure cloud resources. We have seen explosive growth in this area and would like to expand our team to cater for the demand.
Some of your typical activities will include:
- Test-cases designing, implementation and execution both manual and using automation software/tools
- Test reporting
Duties amp; Responsibilities:- You will work on testing of Power Platform solutions to ensure quality
- You will create and execute manual tests for the solutions under development
- You will create automated tests for the solutions under development
- You are a team player and comfortable with working within an Agile environment
- You are well organized personality systematical approach
- You can communicate with project team members, read and understand business requirements and technical specifications to develop test cases
- You will focus on testing of the solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform and related Office 365 services using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- You can communicate well with your team also remotely via MS Teams, Skype, etc.
- You are passionate about building quality software applications
- You are eager to learn new things

Knowledge
- Basic IT knowledge (operating systems, web technology, networking...)
- Basic knowledge of any scripting language and algorithms (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, VB Script, Groovy...)
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, HTTP and HTTPS protocols...)
- Good analytical and logical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of SQL is an advantage
- Previous experience with software testing would be an advantage, but it is not mandatory
